Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret (2023)

Descending from a prestigious family, Coriolanus Snow is having a hard time adjusting to the fall of his family's legacy after they suffered enormous losses during the war of the Districts and the Capitol. To regain his family's stature, he accepts a job mentoring tributes invented for the upcoming tenth Hunger Games. A prequel to The Hunger Games series, this adaptation follows the story of Coriolanus Snow during his youth.

 

Wonka (2023)

This fantasy musical film follows the story of Willy Wonka, the famous but eccentric chocolatier based on the character from Roald Dahl's novel. In particular, it emphasizes his rise to the top. The narrative traces his beginnings as a young adult who started as an employee selling chocolate in a store until he became driven to enter the chocolate industry eventually. This film acts as a prequel to the 1971 film adaptation of Dahl's novel.

 

The Color Purple (2023)
