Borrow seed packets for your home garden

Share seeds with members of your community.

You may take up to 5 seed packets per week, limit 1 of each seed type, per household. "Check-out" the packets at the Ask Us Adult Services desk.

You are welcome to return harvested seeds, though it's not required.

Types of plants include:

• Flowers
• Fruits
• Herbs
• Vegetables

Information on each packet of seeds includes:

• Common Name, Variety
• Source, Year Harvested
• Seed Depth, Plat/Row Spacing, Sun/Shade
• Days to Germinate, Days to Harvest
• Any notes left by community members who donated seeds to the collection
• Annual/Perennial/Biennial
• Organically grown/Non-GMO
