Join us for a special after-hours screening of Sights and Sounds of the Assyrian Diaspora: Art in Response to Statelessness, a documentary by filmmaker Samuel(Shmuel) Tamo. Filmed in Chicago, this powerful film explores the role of art in preserving Assyrian identity and heritage, featuring 13 Assyrian artists sharing their stories. Samuel will be here in person for a discussion after the screening, along with some of the individuals interviewed in the film. Don’t miss this inspiring evening of film, conversation, and community. Doors open at 5:15pm.
