Print, Copy, Scan, & Fax


Printing is available from library computers, from home, or on the go! Use the wireless print site to submit your print jobs from home or anywhere with an internet connection. Download the PrinterOn app for printing from your mobile device.

Black & white and color printers are available with 8.5″x11″ paper.

All print jobs must be paid for and picked up before the library closes. Abandoned print jobs are erased at the end of the day.


  • Black & White prints/copies — 15¢ per page
  • Color prints/copies — 55¢ per page
  • Scanning (to email, USB, mobile device) — Free

Payment Options

The print payment stations will accept coins (nickels, dimes, quarters) and $1 bills.

Library Card
Preload your library card at any print release station by scanning your card, adding change or bills to the machine, and pressing “recharge my account.”

Credit Card Swipe
Submit your print jobs and pick them up at the payment stations. Just swipe or insert your card to pay for your jobs. If you have Apple Pay or Android Pay, tap your device.

Wireless Printing

Wireless printing is available whether you’re inside the library, at home, or anywhere!

From your laptop or personal computer

Option 1: Visit the library print site.

  1. Select a printer, type your library card number, and upload your document
  2. Adjust print settings
  3. Send the job
  4. Go to the printer and scan your library card
  5. Pay for your job and collect your document

Option 2: To print an email message or attachment, forward your email to one of the following email addresses:

  1. For black & white:

  2. You will receive a confirmation email
  3. Go to the printer and type in your username (If your email address is, you would type in “patron” at the printer release station.)
  4. Pay for your job and collect your document

From your mobile device (provided by ePrintit)

The Public Print Locations app is available in Google’s Play Store or Apple’s App Store. Follow these easy steps to print:

  1. Select a photo, enter a website address, or—in some cases—access a document from the cloud
  2. Set the number of copies or page range in preview mode
  3. Search for the Lincolnwood Public Library printers and select either color or black & white
  4. Enter your Lincolnwood library card number
  5. Visit a library print station within 24 hours and enter your card number again to retrieve your job.

Copy, Scan, Fax

The all-in-one copy, scan, fax station is located in the Information Services Department.


Use the touch screen to preview and copy, crop, or resize your document before printing (black & white or color). A traditional black & white copier is located in the adult area as well.


Scan your documents to several different locations. All scanning options are free.

  • Type in an email address and send it as an attachment
  • Plug in your USB and bring it with you
  • Send to your GoogleDrive account to access in the cloud
  • Send to your mobile device via QR code (you will need a QR scanning app on your mobile device to retrieve your document)


Send your document(s) through the feeder and type in the fax number.
