The Friends of the Library is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group of Lincolnwood residents who take pride in the library and support library efforts.
The Friends of the Lincolnwood Library are volunteers who work to enhance library services, programs and resources. Our goal is to promote membership, increase community participation and sponsor special events.
Your membership matters. Through your donations to our fundraising efforts, we are able to provide library materials, equipment and programs, such as:
- Children’s online stories
- Child friendly computers
- Automatic entry doors
- New chairs for the children’s section
- Musical Storytimes on Wednesdays
Friends Events and Activities
Over the years, the Friends have participated in fundraising events as well as participating in events to support the activities of the library and the Lincolnwood community. Some past events include:
- Used Book Sale
- Membership Appreciation Events
- Summer Reading Program
- …and other special events throughout the year.
Looking to make a Donation?
Please make checks payable to the Friends of the Lincolnwood Library. Checks may be mailed to the library or dropped off during normal business hours.
