  The library board, the district’s governing authority, meets monthly to make decisions about library services, policies, finances, and related business. The board has four standing committees that meet as needed. Each library trustee serves on one or more of these committees. Starting with the April 2009 election, the full terms of those elected to be Lincolnwood library trustees was reduced from six years to four years.
